De-javu

Heartfelt letter to #AjinkyaRahane

Someone is digging life out of grave, someone is riding on a bull, somone is swimming against the tide, somone is fighting with the fire, someone is bringing back career to life of out death that too on #Johonusburg
Ajinkya Rahane I am keeping my article on you in my Draft. Make me post it.

Tight Collar, shuffling around the wicket at non-striker end, intense eyes while batting, determined face and some classic text book cricket attack. 5 fearsome boundaries, attacking from GO, you look determined as I write shuffling my eyes between television and handset.

You pad up every where on your body and only place you get hit is your elbow where you aren't padded.

Destiny took your words way too seriously brother when you said "2018 is going to be my year". These "my years" are usually like gold, you ought to go through fire first to come out shining later.

Climax, anti-climax, low patch against most mediocre bowling, fathers police arrest, flying to africa as vice captain and then getting dropped for first 2 tests...almost everything working against you. But brother, these are the exact ingredients that work together to success. You have toiled hard to reach here and so did you to make your mark. Destiny is with those who never give up on themselves first. Destiny helps those who help themselves. You are certainly one of them. You took one innings in green top wicket to come back to form while others took entire series to maintain their "top" (pata wicket though, I can say flat pitches here but that would be understatement) batsmen image and failed.

You are once again caught up in unimaginable, unthinkable scenario and I believe everyone is expecting you to fail. The De-javu of Lords heroics might come back here as I see you today like lords fighting it out along with bhuvaneshwar kumar.
Make it count brother. Make it count. Path is never easy for most selfless individuals on earth but these are very paths which lead to glory. You are already halfway through. Make the other half yours. Make us proud as you always did.
Best wishes.
Pankaj Kanade
